Hello,
I am working with SD3 and Cubase 9.5 about one year, and all works fine. (WIN10 – 1803/Cubase 9.5.41/SD3 – 3.1.2). With this constellation I started some cubase song projects. In early November I have upgraded to Cubase 10 (Cubase 9.5 still remains on my pc). I opened all my (after I saved them) “old” projects with cubase 10 and I was surprised that all works fine. I worked 3 weeks on this songs in cubase 10, but as I tried today to start one of them, cubase crashed. It happended as follows. I startet cubase, opened the hub and choosed a project. First it seemed to be running, but as cubase was loading the vsts, for a short time I saw a small window with “Superior Drummer 3 vst crashed” or something else on it. Then cubase was frozen and I had to restart the pc. This happend with every song. If I started one of this projects with cubase 9.5 all works as usual. So I removed the SD3 plugin with CB 9.5 and opened it with cubase 10 again. That works. I have reloaded SD3 in CB 10, saved it and restarted. It seems to be solved and I can load this song again with cb 10 with SD3 without crashing.
Now it is indeed ok, but I am a bit afraid to work with cb 10 until I can be sure that this will not happen again. After Installing cb 10 until the first crash I have done no updates, installations or something else. This strange behavior came quite unexpectedly.
