Yes, I already told you. The grid editor was the reason to buy this program. What is the solution of the problem?

Until next update, don’t have the grid editor in an external window, at least not when you change the number of instruments. To get to the grid editor in the main window (which is safe), double-click a song block – the first time you need to switch from Edit Play Style to Grid Editor – or press P (if keyboard shortcuts are enabled).

SD 3.1.5 is out now and it should fix these crashes.

    Hi Olof,

Last night I had the same problem again. :-/

Is there a way to change the settings in the program to make the workflow easier for the computer system?

It‘s only if I use the extra window for grid editor, because to switch everytime is very uncomfortable.

Really? Please send the crash log. You can find it in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports – paste that path into the “Go to Folder” dialog which you can open from the “Go” menu in Finder.

Can you explain more how you would like the workflow improved? Have you tried using the ‘P’ keyboard shortcut to go to the grid editor?

    Hello

I have been experiencing crashes when opening up  SD3 within Logic Pro.

My system is a Mojave 10.14.6 . Recently updated, which is when the problem started.

This doesn’t happen every time, but it is exhausting holding my fingers crossed whilst setting up my drums.

    Any clues?
