Hey folks. I’m brand new here. I’m working on some old files. I’m transposing some midi drum tracks from my old Roland R8, SP12 etc. I changed the midi maps back then to accommodate how I was working at that time. Now I’ve got to transpose those tracks to SD3. I haven’t seen the logic, the way I did things. I’m looking for the instrument midi note, as in C1 for Kick. But I’m seeing numbers. Also, I can’t find my manual or the manual online on toontrack. AND I don’t see a SD3 forum, so I’m REALLY confused! LOL. If someone can tell me how to set it to see actual note numbers I’d greatly appreciate it!
I found the manual, but I’m still not satisfied. I know SD prefers to not use key names in favor of numbers. I guess to take advantage of velocities and other settings? But there’s not to be an easier way of transitioning old files and projects.
