Hi… i have just downloaded the whole sound library of...

Hi… i have just downloaded the whole sound library of SD 3 to external hard drive and i did the edith path thing from the library setting ,restarted SD 3 ( even computer ) but i doesn’t work , still getting the same message over and over that the library is missing….. what do i do? What happens when you run the sound installer from Part2?

Does it give you the option to browse to the sound library location?
Try rerunning the part1 sound installer first?

Yeah , in library settings i clicked on ” Browse for Library Path(s)” , then i clicked on the external disk Macintosh HD on the left side to select its content and then i choosed the sound library from the page i sent you but i most have missed something…

I don’t think you installed anything, just pointed SD3 to the contents of the installation download.
Create a new folder on your SSD. Call it Toontrack,
Run the Sound Installer from Part1. Select the new directory on your SSD called Toontrack.
Let me know how that goes.

Glad to hear it Chris.
Once you have run all the installers and updaters from all the folders ending in ….Part1-5, that you downloaded, you can remove those folders. (Or archive them…. which is what I did)

You should now have a folder on your SSD named ToontrackSuperiorDrummer3 (that is your SD3 sample library)
