My mac was updated to the Catalina (non-beta) today, and it seems as if midi events from my TD17 are no longer registering with SD3. No drum/cymbal/pedal events are seen by SD3, either in midi setup, or in the main UI.
SD3 sees the TD17, and I can select it as the midi input device. Audio output through the TD17 works fine.
Known issue, or…?

I regrettably updated to Catalina on MacBook Air, makes my TD15 freeze….so going back to Mojave.
I have also updated to Catalina. I can use my TD-50 for audio out, but the USB from the TD-50 no longer works.
Searching on web, I saw this article on the Roland website, under the “Support News” tab:
https://www.roland.com/global/support/support_news/19091015/
But, where can I download the “*******_USBDriver1015(.pkg)”, that I don’t know… 🙁
Hi everyone!
I updated also to Catalina. I use a TD15KV and SD3. In Mojave there was no problem and all worked fine. But after the update there was no Midi signal to SD3. I saw the TD15 in SD3 as a Midi Input but there was no signal. After a downgrade to Mojave all worked fine as usual. I wrote to Roland Support.
The answer (translated german-english):
There is no guarantee for the compatibility to macOS Catalina (10.15) at this time. The are verifications and if necessary updates for the driver and program. We recommend to wait to update your Mac to Catalina to guarantee a compatibility for the used devices.
My question is… will the TD15KV ever be able to work on Catalina???
Hi Siegfried,
that is not a question we can answer here. That is for Roland to answer.

Hi,
I also wrote an e-mail to Roland Support.
This was they answer:
At this stage there are no compatible drivers for OS X 10.15 but they will be available in the near future. Please keep an eye on this page for driver updates: https://www.roland.com/global/support/support_news/19091015r/
Ive never known an OS release cause as many issues. No one seems to have been anywhere near ready for this one. Not saying its any single ones fault, but it needs sorted ASAP.
Im sure it will happen, just seems to taking a lot longer than usual.
Glad Im not reliant on my music for income and its just a hobby. 🙂 …but saying that, it all cost me the same amount of money as any professional and I had to save up for it all! 🙂

Am I missing something? I did not see any Drums listed in that Update Link?
Roland has now posted Catalina drivers for the entire V-drum line.
