    Hi,

if you upgrade your OS and your host(s) run as expected, there should be no problem running SD3.

There is no Apple Silicon Native version but that’s not relevant in your case since you have an Intel processor.

although Its a real pain that Roland still have not released their USB drivers for their Electronic Drums. So I can’t upgrade to Big Sur until they do.

That’s what I was afraid of…. So it is a no for me until Roland gets its act together.

They seem to be the only company left for me, and its annoying. I want to upgrade to Big Sur for many reasons, and basically stopped by Roland from doing so. I have my Roland TD17KVX kit and the Roland SPD sx pads, both need the new USB driver.

Just installed the new driver on my M1 Mac today.
I had to go through Logic before the driver was released, worked fine.

    Hi there,

I just updated to a iMac 2017, from an old 2012 Mac Mini.  I installed Big Sur when setting up the hard drive.  I have a weird issue when running Superior Drummer in Pro Tools 2021.  The CPU usage hits 100% every so many seconds.  If I remove the track with Superior Drummer, the CPU usage stays at or under 24%.  This is really strange and it took me a while to diagnose the issue.  I have downloaded drivers, reinstalled my Clarett 8PreX, looked at video drivers, uninstalled items running in the background…. you name it.  Any advise would be great.  Thanks,

    Hi,

not seeing that here on my MBP with Big Sur 11.3.1 and PT 2021. I’m running the latest SD3 which is 3.2.4, so my first advice would be to update to 3.2.4.
