While I can relate to the desire to be On Top, SD just isn’t ALWAYS the most important window open at any given time.
Nor does it store the changed state of the checkbox so it has to be done every time I open the instrument.
Anyone know of a way to change that default setting?
Many thanks~

I would also like some help with this matter.
Using Superior Drummer 3.1.2 build 20164 with PT 12.8.3
SOLVED: Turns out the Superior drummer “Always On Top” checkbox is controlled by, in my case, a VST Preference setting in Cubase.
Joseph, don’t know if Pro Tools has the same setting, but worth checking out.

Yes, this is host dependent and AFAIK there is not an equivalent setting in Pro Tools.
You have the plugin window’s Target button, which makes it possible to open more than one plugin window but if a plugin window is opened, it floats on top until closed.
Plugin windows can be hidden with:
Window/Hide All Floating Windows
Mac shortcut – Command+Option+Control+W
Windows shortcut – Ctrl+Alt+Start+W
