HI,
How do I save MIDI blocks that I’ve created into the Browser? I am recording blocks of a song and want them to appear in the browser (4/4 – style – verse – etc) like the included MIDI files appear.
I know I can drag them to favorites, but they only appear on that left side and not on the right side browser.
I also see how I can right click and create a folder in the browser, but I can’t get my MIDI blocks to drag there.
Thanks.
Not sure…Dont know why but
If you do it outside of EZK on a folder level you can drop a folder of midi that will appear in the add on menu .
Thanks. Yes I made the folder hierarchy changes in the computer filing system and added the MIDI files there as well and they updated in the EZK browser.
I’m not sure whether you created extra folders in the actual EZkeys MIDI folder on your computer, but if so it would be a very bad idea, that’s not where user data should go (and on some system can go).
You should store your files in a user folder located in a safe place. Just create one such folder on your hard drive and add it to the Browser. Add your arrangements to it by dragging them outside of EZkeys and into that folder.
… if that is what you have done, apology, but I wanted to make the point that our installers do not expect user data in the application folder tree and you may lose data in the future if you store them there!
