save project in EZ Drummer 2

Hi,
I just bought EZ Drummer2 after I checked the Demo. Great product!
I found something I still struggle with….a little bit. I always have to make sure which song I´m in right in that moment.
It´s the project save function. This is a bit unconfortable and irritating.
In any program or OS when I´m going to save something I can choose to “save as….” or just “save”. The difference between those functions is common.
In EZ Drummer2 I always have to name it again and again. Also when I want to save a already saved project I have to give it a name.
A risky thing if I have already 3 or 4 other finished songs in that folder. Once klicked the wrong one you overwrite it. The name of the opened song/project is not given in the field for the filename.
Is there an update in progress?

Are you working with the stand alone version and using the
load and save projects entries in the menu on the right hand side
of the plug?

In that case you should start using the ‘Save’ and ‘Save As’
in the File menu of the hosting mini-app. That would be
up in the left corner somewhere.

I’m with Tank_1. It’s just confusing having to rename the same song. I’m using it as a plug-in, in pro tools and have not had time to figure out if it saves with-in the DAW or saves separately. As a consequence I keep losing work. Please amend to the save as and save conventions we all know:) Great product though!
