Greetings everyone!
I have a question, I looked through the forum and to my surprise nobody has asked this before. I create similar types of grooves and fills in my songs and I haven’t discovered a way to save specific grooves or fills; does anyone know how to save a custom groove or fill?
It is tedious to try to transcribe what I played live every time I do this. I know it may be easier to get an electric kit and just track with SD3 as the sound source but that really isn’t an option right now. I am also aware I could just save the midi file and then import it whenever I need to use it but again its just easier if there were a way to save the fills in the “library” of grooves & fills.
FOR ANYONE INTERESTED HERE IS MY CURRENT WORK FLOW:
I record my drum performance through Rec’n’Share (yamaha EAD10), next I import that drum performance in my Digital Audio Workstation and I then transcribe my complete performance in Superior Drummer 3 via the grid editor, it can be time consuming. I’m finding I use a lot of the same vocabulary with my drum fills in particular and it would be nice to be able to recall those tedious drum fills when I want to use them in other songs.
Thank you in advance for your help!
