Hello, I’m having a problem with running EZplayer Pro inside of Protools and would appericate any feedback .
I have Toontrack solo installed, EZplayer pro, Superior Drummer, Protools, and Eleven rack as my DAW. When running Toontracker and EZplayer as standalones I can hear the drums just fine when playing back from the sample midi’s.
The problem is when using superior Drummer, and EZplayer as plugins inside Protools, I can’t hear any samples while using EZplayer, although I can when I switch back to Superior Drummer. I’ve tried multiple combinations of inputs/outputs. I’ve also been provided with 2 or three different methods for configuring the in’s and out’s so would appreciate a step by step on the method that’s worked for you.
It’s acting like I have a misplaced dll file, or some file that should be some where. Open to any and all reasonable suggestions. Thanks !
I was checking the versions for writing it down below when I noticed the version of ezplayer is 1.1 (The update I just installed), when using it with Toontracker and the ezplayer version is 1.04(The version just prior to the update), when running within Protools.
I’m using the following revisions
Protools 10.0.1
EZPlayer Pro 1.04 in Protools 1.10 in Toontrack solo
Superior Drummer 2.30
Toontrack solo 1.2.2
Hi,
please try locating the ‘ezplayer.dpm’ file and delete it manually. It should be located in ‘C:Program Files (x86)AvidPro ToolsPlug-Ins’ or similar.
Then apply the latest update again.
For info how to set up inside Pro Tools, please see the attached Session. Don’t forget to Record-Arm the Superior Instrument Track.
