Hi all
I have SD3 in Reaper as a VST. I play in on an e-kit and work from there. I have sent run-outs to a third party for him to mix. He says he has a speed problem in that whilst my demo run-out wav (the whole kit with my fx on) sits in his project fine, the 16 untreated kit wavs are slow and don’t match the tempo (which happens to be 82bpm for this track).
I notice that in Reaper for this song my project sample rate is 44.1. I ran out my demo with fx (the one described above) from Reaper’s ‘render to file’ screen, and, naturally, the sample rate in the render tab is 44.1. I’ve checked the properties for that stereo wav, and it’s at 2116kbps, which is the figure for 44.1 in stereo, so all good. However, all the untreated wavs for the kit were run out direct from SD3 via bounce, which, although the host project is set to 44.1, has run out all the wavs at 48, i.e. either 1152kbps for mono, or 2304kbps for stereo.
How can I tell SD3 to run the wavs out at 44.1 for this project?
Thanks in advance

Hi all I think I’ve cracked it.
As well as select a format (48 or 44.1 etc) in project settings, in Reaper you HAVE to tick the ‘project sample rate’ box, otherwise it doesn’t tell SD3 to run out at that rate.
