Hi,
There is same note when I hit e-drums one of cymbal’s edge and kick, is there any way to fix it?
By the way I’m using ATV aD5 module.
View the drum tab (Where you see the kit you have loaded) and make sure that all the instruments are active and not grayed out. If they are grayed out just activate them.
Cubase Pro, Korg Kronos, M-50, Hammond XK-1c, Toontrack SD3, EZBass w/lots of expansions, many VSL Vi's, Shreddage 3 everything, and shit-tons of FX plugins.
Thanks, but this is not my question.
For example, when I tip bow on cymbal (E-drums), it shows note number 30. When I hit cymbal’s edge, the number is 36, but it’s also 36 when I hit kick. How I change cymbal’s edge or kick to different note number?
When you hit the kick is it only 36? Is the bass drum close to the cymbal? My thought is cross talk causing this as they both won’t have the same note number. If you go into edrum settings you can manually change any note you want. You’re not restricted to the note numbers. Take a look at the manual regarding edrum settings. I don’t have specifics as I’m not in front of my pc at present
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
If your cymbal edge and kick are transmitting the same note number, you would need to correct this on your drum brain. Seeing as 36 is considered the GM standard for kick, you are best to change the cymbal edge and map it to whatever the drum map you are using.

Thank you guys! I just found I could change every note number on aD5 module. 😀
