Routing to tracks from drag/drop grooves

Hi all,

EZDrummer 1.2.1 / Pro Tools 8.04 M-Powered

I understand how to use the mixer and route the tracks to PT tracks when playing the grooves from the EZD interface – that’s cool! But if I drag and drop some grooves into an instrument channel I seem to lose the ability to route the tracks on playback. Is this the case or am I just not getting that bit? I don’t know how to assign the mics from the midi channel…

Is this even possible or do you have to limit the individual tracks to audio recording?
