Roland TM-2 Tigger Module missing from Roland E-Drum module list

Hello!

I’m thinking of picking this module up to add more triggers/pads to my TD-15KV kit. I went ahead and looked at the available list in the E-Drums/Roland list but this module(and even the TM-6 Pro) isn’t listed.

Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Hi,

first, I don’t think the MIDI layout is different than the standard Roland layout; there aren’t many differences between Roland modules.

2nd, if you are going to use it at the same time as your TD-15 module to expand your kit, you will still have to edit the TM-2 MIDI notes manually, since it otherwise will send on the same note numbers as the TD-15.

So in that case what preset would I assign to the MIDI in? Would any of the Roland Modules listed in the drop down menu work?

Hi,

 

I can’t find any documentation on the TM-6 Pro but I would assume any of the newer modules would serve well as a starting point.
