Roland TM-2 Midi setup

Hello,

I am attempting to use the midi out on my Roland Tm-2 to trigger the Bass and Snare in Ezdrummer 3 and it doesn’t appear to be working at all.

The TM-2 is not listed under the E-drums module list in Ezdrummer 3. What settings should be used?

Signal chain is tm2 Midi out ->Focusrite 18i20 midi in. Using Focusrite ASIO and Focusrite USB midi in Ezdrummer 3.

Is there a way to make this setup work to record and playback midi notes in my DAW (Studio One 5) and/or use Ezdrummer 3 samples for the kick and snare?

Hi,

have you made sure the Focusrite is checked under MIDI Devices?

I guess any of the Roland Presets would do for triggering Kick and Snare, I believe they all share the settings for those two.

If you can get MIDI In from your Focusrite interface to Studio One, there should be no problem recording into Studio One and use EZdrummer3 as a plugin.
