Hey there – I am having an issue with EZ Drummer 3 not recognizing my TD27. They were working together previously (about 6 weeks ago), but now nothing. All the EZD settings are how they should be. When I couldn’t get it to work, I decided to go to the Roland website and download the most updated driver, which seemed to install fine – except that the instructions say after turning on the TD27, “when prompted to confirm whether to allow the connection of the USB device, click [Allow]”. I don’t get that message.
In the audio/midi set up in EZD3, when I hit “test” I get a test tone in the headphones of my TD27, so they are connecting…and the sounds when played with the mouse also come through. But the pads will not trigger sounds. I have “vendor” selected, I have local control set to “off”.
I am on a macbook pro, running Sonoma 14.6.1. When trying to set up the MIDI Studio through Utilities, it shows the TD27 as present, but the sound test doesn’t do anything.
I’m stumped! What am I doing wrong?!
Sorted this out…there was an issue in downloading the driver. Uninstalled and re-installed.
