Roland td25 triggers

Has anyone else noticed highhat triggers are not very sensitive? I seem to have two issues . 1. The volume when playing is low and I have to plug in a GAIN to the Logic Pro X track to hear while I play. 2. The triggers on HH and cymbals are not as expressive. They seem to miss hits. My buddy has AD2 and I used that to compare. It picks up all the little nuances so it’s not my kit. I did notice they had Roland specific models to map with but ez is just Roland. Will there be an update to ezdrummer 2?
I’ve tried the HH settings and it’s not making a big difference. I really like ez and have many kits so I want to get it working better. Ideas?

Where did you try hihat settings?

Go to EZD2>Menu>Settings>Edrums and settings for hihat are there.

if you already did that, have you adjusted the hihat settings in the TD25?
