I am trying to setup a Roland TD 20 using a Mac. I am using a usb to midi cable. I have no issues setting up my Alesis command pro to trigger midi but with the Roland module being older, I have had nothing but trouble.
My issue is once I connect it it doesn’t trigger any of the drums. Will I need to make each drum in EZdrummer learn each midi signal or is there a better way to do this?
Have you gone into Settings>Audio/Midi Setup and enabled the TD20 yet?

I have, and it doesn’t appear to work. I turned local control off as well.
Hi,
it *should* be as easy as connecting your module to your MIDI interface, selecting the MIDI interface in the EZD3 Audio/MIDI settings and then select the module’s MIDI Preset in ‘E-drums/MIDI In’.
You need to make sure that your MIDI to USB cable actually works with your computer first. Can you establish that MIDI signals are reaching your Mac in the Audio MIDI Setup in Applications/Utilities?

John
