I have a Roland TD-11k. The hi-hat triggering is so bad on EZDrummer. Granted its a cheaper CY-5 hihat but its so much better natively.
When I click the hihat with the mouse, it has a nice clear sound. When I hit the pad, its barely audible. Yes I can turn up the hi-hat (and why is there not a universal volume increase that spans across presets?) but this only brings up the volume for every hi-hat sound. This means that an open hi-hat no sounds way too loud.
From what I have found thus far, it seems I have no way of controlling this midi response on its own. Superior Drummer is the only way which is infuriating since it pretty much makes EZ practically useless if I can have a reliable hi-hat.
Anyone have experience with Roland Hi-hats?
