Roland e-drums in EZ Drummer

Hi!

I’ve purchased Fast Track C400 toghether with EZ drummer, and the intention was to get more sounds/fills throug EZ drummer. Is it possible to trig the EZ drummer through the Roland kit with the soundcard Fast Track C400 ? Anyone tried this?

Hi,

do you mean without any more software or hardware? No, hardware wise (computer excluded) you should be OK, since it is both a MIDI and Audio interface but you will need to load EZdrummer in Toontrack solo on your computer. Triggering EZdrummer via E-drums using any other host is not officially supported.

Triggering EZdrummer via E-drums using any other host is not officially supported….Do you think that’s not some thing you might put on the box?on the web site?As a main topic in the support forums?Even the guy at the music store told me “yea it works with triggers”…Not having out of the box functionality like being able to use a hi hat or midi mapping is shameful…… Or at the very least THE INFO IN THE OVERVIEW? If it worked like you guys make it look like it works with e-drums I would even buy a x pac or 2…But alas Theres a sucker born every minute…..And I guess I’m one
