Roland CY18DR digital cymbal with EZDrummer2

I’m using a TD 50 module with MacBook and EZdrummer2. Has anyone had experience with using the CY18DR digital cymbal?  The standard Roland 3 zone cymbal seems to sound  better than the high dollar digital cymbal. All the settings in EZDrummer seem to be correct. Anyone have experience with having to change any settings to get the digital cymbal to work correctly with ezdrummer2?

Operating system: macOS Catalina (10.15)

What’s you issue? As it is only a controller it does not sound by itself.

What you can have with a workaround is separated BELL audio level (or also EDGE).
