Check that the sample rate is at or under 96 Mega Hertz. Try that. Apple core.
Thanks for the reply.
I’m running at 44.1 currently with a UAD Apollo. I’m using Luna as the DAW
any thing else that could be causing it? I have other ez drummer packs that sound ok.
The sample rate is not controlled by Luna and UA. Kind of. When you open an instance of your DAW (-Logic)
make sure you save a template and save a regular instance, name it and have it as the one file (saving prefs.) so you always have a base to build upon.
open your DAW. In my case Logic. And make sure all are at 48 K.
The reason for the crackle is that these settings constantly battle one another.
also you need to change the initialization of the O/S through long pressing the power button to boot into, security settings and change the overall configuration located in the menu.
that allows the third party plug ins to have fill access as they write the initial security issues.
console should be reflective of these at the bottom.
I do not know if this is needed for toontrack. Maybe not.
Ok. That makes sense kind of lol!
im gonna get a chance tomorrow to sit down and try all of that. Hopefully that will solve it.
thanks again for the reply.
Apologies, Ive just realised that I put the wrong OS in the first post. I’m on an Intel Mac running 12.6
Good luck, it has only taken me 4 weeks to figure out.
EZ Drummer and the lot, sound amazing
Have you checked the EZD output level at bottom right and the meter level of the channel in your DAW that has EZD? It’s best to mix every channel to no more than -12dB. You make up the level in mastering.
