Hi,
I bought midi over from EZKeys and when I play the EZBass transposed midi there is a ringing sound on the playback of the bass notes. How do I stop this ringing sound. I use no plugins and am using only EZ-drummer-keys-bass trying to create a new song. My DAW is Studio One.
Thanks much,
John
Did you drag the EZkeys MIDI to the Drums & Keys tab, or to the song track of EZbass?

Normally, the design of EZbass wants you taking care of the “Generate accompanying bass Midi” function on the Drums & Keys tab. This should be your 1st choice. It will convert the drums or piano MIDI into bass MIDI.
By dragging it directly on the song track, some piano notes might be out of range of a bass guitar scale. This might result in either ignoring notes or unwanted articulation control (like harmonics, etc). If instead, you want 1:1 Midi from the piano, you should respect the EZbass default keyboard range from A0 – E4 and the key switches area from A-1 to G#0.
(I also want to add that notes at high velocitiy produce automatic fret buzzing.)
Henrik
I drag the midi from ezkeys to the ezbass drum & keys.
Can you attach the MIDI that you experience as ringing to a post here so we can have a look at it?
