I need advice on getting a decent volume out of the Rides. I’ve got the gain on my edrum triggers set to the max, adjusted the instrument level, and turned up the overheads considerably. Still the Rides are at a low volume. Am I missing something obvious? No troubles with any of the other kit pieces. Some Rides have a close in mic option, but most do not. Thanks for any help.

I apologize if I missed something but have you tried clicking on the instrument and adjusting the level there?
Yes. It’s up all the way. As are the overheads, which is actually overkill for the other cymbals. Thanks for the reply.

Are you pushing up the mixer channel or the bleed levels?
You can always re-route the ride to its own channel and then add some gain to it.

Thanks very much. Through trial and error, I ended up doing as you advised. Adjusting the velocity helped too. Really appreciate the suggestion.
