Ride Cymbal Firing Without Hitting It

Hi, I’m using the trial Easy Drummer 2 vst. I notice when I’m playing my ride cymbal fires off when I’m not hitting it. Also using Tracktion 7 with a Simmons SD 1200 kit. Please let me know if I can correct this through the software. thanks!

Hi,

are you using any MIDI mapping preset in the ‘E-Drums’ Settings?

If you record your playing, can you inspect the MIDI where your cymbal triggers without hitting and see if there are any double notes or which MIDI note we are talking about?

Thank you for replying. I didn’t realize I could run the demo without using a DAW, the problem seems to be corrected now.
