Resize Tool Racing Away

Looks like this may have been reported already. Trying to use the resize tool in EZ Player Pro and the suddenly you’re 100 measures away from where you started. Can’t shorten the clips because the cursor is off to the races as soon as you click.

Addendum:

After it duplicated the fill numerous times I used the ‘undo action’ button to get rid of them. I then saved and quit Logic, but when I restarted all those duplicated fills were there. Doesn’t seem to be an easy way to delete them all either. Velocity settings on into fills were also gone (not sure if that’s normal)

I do believe from a previous thread that the issue is being looked into.

If you zoom out you can reduce this problem.
However,as you zoom out the measures are smaller in size,obviously,making some what but not overtly difficult to work with.

I do not believe there is any VST that can enlarge to full sceen,which would help,so until such time the issue is resovled this is the only workaround that I (at least) have been able to come up with.
It still has it’s drawbacks but it is workable.

Any word on when this update is coming out. Thought I’d read something about July but not sure.

I do know there is an update for EZP but I do not know what has been updated.
Honestly, I have been just to lazy to download it.

If you go to the main page and login then go to the support portal,select downloads, it does appear that was one of the issues addressed.
One of the tech guys are going to have to confirm that though.

Well I got off my lazy ass and updated EZP.

Yes,it is fixed.
When you resize now it behaves properly.Also,when you change the time signature,the measure markers stay the same and the grid adjusts accordingly.

Once again you will have to check what fixes affect your set up.

I downloaded the update and will try it out. Good news indeed. I really like using EZP to build the tracks.

I am a novice myself.EZP absolutely makes it easier (no pun intended) working with clips.
Being able to mix and match kit pieces from different clips to create your own patterns is a huge advantage.
It is much more intuitive than editing MIDI in a DAW’s piano roll.

I have no expierience with other drum samplers like BFD and AD,but I must say,TT really endeavors to make products simple enough for beginers to use and deep enough for professionals to use, all in the same package.

This should be corrected in the latest update, 1.0.6. It’s available from your account.
