Hi,
On multiple occasions I have lost hours of work, making a really great mix/kit. Could you please make SD2 not reset anything if the soundcard/interface is changed, this has caused the mixer to reset to default mixer, simply by plugging in my Clarett 8PreX — I usually mix drums without it, as I don’t need the ins/outs. Also, if the external HDD that holds the samples is accidentally unplugged everything gets lost. I don’t see the point of resetting anything just because the plug-in cannot find the samples momentarily. I’d love to see SD2 be able to recover from the loss of connectivity to the sample harddisk — it should be no problem to display a warning/error, saying that it cannot find the samples, and reload them upon connecting the HDD again. The kit settings shouldn’t be affected by this.
