This may not be the proper place to ask this question but there are lots of experts here so I’m going to give it a shot. I have a MACPro II with EZ Drummer is used through Pro Tools 8.0 and a Korg Nanopad for my controller. The problem I have is that the layout that is automapped on the pad is not to the full function of EZ Drummer. By this I mean in Scene 1 of the Nanopad, for those not familiar there are 4 scenes or stages, this button allows changes the different drums functions by hitting the button. Scene may have a quick cymbal hit and grab, a different hit position on the ride like the bell, cowbell, etc. On scene 1 I have 2 snare triggers, 1 bass drum and all of the toms, a ride, left side crash cymbal, and 3 levels of highhat function,(closed, open and pedal step). I cannot get the other crash cymbal to trigger on ANY of the scenes that the pad offers. If I go to scene 2 there is different hits on the toms, ride so on and so forth but no right side crash. I cannot figure out how to change this triggers on the pad to what I want them to be. BTW, this is also the case when I use SOLO as well. Is there any way to change this configuration? I have tried to locate the Nanopad itself on the HD and that doesn’t show up. Is there a way to change the triggers to where I want them and what I want them to be? I am confused and need some help. Again, I apologize if this is not the place to ask this question but I love these drums and the Nanopad is in my bugget for the time being. Thanks for any advice.
Hi,
IIRC there is an editor you can download from the KORG website, which lets you edit and store the scenes.
By clicking the ‘?’ Help menu in EZdrummer you can find the MIDI key layout, so to know which notes triggers what.
EZdrummer itself can not be reassigned, that’s a Superior 2 feature.
Best Regards,

Thanks John, I have the Korg Editor and the funny thing is that EZDrummer does not show up in the browser list. Very wierd. The Kord site lists several Toontrack drum paskages that it will edit but does not list EZ Drummer itself. I will try to work inside of the program itself as you suggested and see if I can remedy my issue. Thanks for the response.
