Hi!
Is it possible to reorder the xdrum kit pieces? e.g. I have two cowbells and want the second one to be under the first one.

Unfortunately this is one of many improvements we have been screaming about and hoping will be available in the next version. I have resigned myself to the fact that if they are out of order they are not going to be in order. The only way to fix it is to remove them and re-add them.
Ok, thank you! I did remove them, removed both cowbells, but the first one always appears under the sticks and the second one at the bottom of the kit pieces.
Moreover, a conga is called instrument 7 although there already is a china with that name.

In what order did you reinsert them? The order that you wanted? Personally the order showing in the drum screen never mattered to me as long as they’re triggered by the right notes and going to the mixer channel I want them.

Thanked by: Bear-Faced CowI know that the order does not matter normally, but it does visually. I have a custom background and regard SD as my “band member”. 😀 When finishing songs, I have a video of the drummer playing…I like watching the hits and would like to reorder the xdrums or even better: They should have regular graphics similar to the kit so we can place them anywhere in the room to have e.g. 6 toms next to each other.

That may be an edge case then as I really don’t mind it as is and never watch the drummer play. The drums light up to see what is happening when setting up. Probably wasn’t designed with what you have in mind. You never know though and it may not be that hard to fix for them.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

That drummer is he one of your human bandmates or a computer construct? Like I said as long as the right drums sound I’m happy. A lot of people have asked about what you want over the years and I have to think that it’s not possible or else it would have been done. I don’t know of another drum vi that does what you want.

It’s just my virtual drummer. With a real drummer, I wouldn’t need Superior Drummer.
Mixer vs. grid editor seems to have problems. One shot 1 = sticks…then I added a second cowbell and now one shot 1 = the new cowbell.
In the mixer , sticks are sticks, but in the grid editor, the sticks are one shot 1. The new cowbell is one shot 3 in the grid editor.

Start a new thread for this other issue rather than add OT to this one.
