hey guys so im using ezdrummer 2 into cubase and i use it as a drag and drop which works great, my problem comes from when i leave a session or i close ez drummer and want to come back to it later i cant remember what grooves ive used. as they just show up as drum beats, is there any way of finding out which part of my drum library i got it out of? having a name or something when i drag and drop them would be helpfull to at least identify what sample ive used, weather it be “halftimepushyrock” or “funkyswing” . is there a way of finding out what ive used aside from memory? thanks for any help
I have the same problem in protools 11. I go back to an earlier recording that has a nice beat chosen among all the midifiles in my vast EZ-drummer library. But where did it come from? How do I find out where it came from?
What you can do is to get the MIDI in to EZdrummer 2’s Tap2Find drop zone. If the MIDI isn’t altered too much, the source file should appear in the result list.
