I need to reformat my C: drive and reinstall everything. I have all my SD3 samples on another drive. Is there a way to install SD3 without having to re-install all the samples?

I had a similar situation on my Mac. You should be able to install the app and then point it to your library. Then run the PM to update any missing items such as grooves.

Thanks, Jord!
So far everything is a go. Just struggling with some of my User MIDI grooves.

Yeah, I found that to be a pain point as well. Considering that I have the identical MIDI libraries on my other computer, I’m going to try copying the entire folder. If that works, I might just try a symlink to the cloud directory so that I only have to worry about one groove directory.

Thanked by: Mac McCormickHa! I did the same thing; trying to find the original paths to my plugins and libraries and then putting them where I thought they should go. It worked OK on some stuff and not so good on others. I did get all my user grooves in late last night (well, early this morning…) I kept putting them in the correct folder but they didn’t show up. About an hour later I finally saw the “Sync File Changes” option by clicking on the down-arrow next to “User MIDI”. Bingo! They all showed up!
I’m really a huge Toontrack fan. They just really seem they have included solutions to the problems most of us have with VSTi’s and libraries. Not to mention that SD3 sounds great…
Thanks again for your help, Jord!
