I have started using EZDrummer 3 recently, and I pretty much like the user interface and the overall experience.. there is one issue which is major for me, in the standalone app. When I am arranging the drums in the Song Track section, I want to simultaneously listen to my reference track along with the arranged drums. (which I have loaded in the bandmate section).
Why can’t you add just one more layer in the Song Track section to help us listen to arranged drums with our reference song, without the use of any DAW? It will be so so helpful.
(I tried using EZDrummer 3 as a plugin with latest FL Studio 24 all plugins edition, v24.1.1, but there are many issues there. The spacebar doesn’t work properly in the EZDrummer plugin, because spacebar is integrated with FL Studio as host. Even the cntrl+spacebar works sometimes, and doesn’t work many times.
I am using PC with i7, 32 GB RAM, and all latest specifications.
My Audio Interface is focusrite Scarlett 2i2.
I have the latest hardware and software on my high-end computer. So there is no hardware or software issue on my computer’s part whatsoever. I run FL Studio with many plugins without any issue.)
Therefore, I prefer using the EZDrummer 3 as a standalone app, and I love arranging the drums in standalone app.
The only problem is why is there no option to listen to the reference track simultaneously as I am arranging the drums in the Song Track?
I need to listen to my reference song simultaneously, so that I know what arrangements suit my song, and I can make groove choices accordingly.
Can you please add an audio track to go along with the Song Track (where the drums are arranged)?
Or else –
Please tell me which is the best recommended DAW for windows, which works seamlessly with EZDrummer 3, EZBass, and EZKeys 2? (For Windows).
Because FL Studio – EZD3 workflow has many issues for playback of reference audio track.
