Hello
When I record drums into a new block, set to loop, the newly recorded beat (say a kick drum) does not play on the next loop while in record mode. If I stop the record mode, then enter record again for the next instrument to overdub, the original drum beat is there. Seems tedious to have to stop the loop each time to overdub a new instrument. Is there a better way to record and overdub without stopping and starting each time?
Thanks
I will write this up, since it’s something we need to fix! In the meantime, you can avoid this by recording the MIDI to a DAW track instead of using the Superior Drummer 3 track. They’ll behave in the way you want.
When done, to get the MIDI to Superior Drummer 3, you can record enabled SD3, having Follow Host enabled, and then press play in the DAW.

Thanked by: Ken Nilsen, beebeeveevee and UnclebassHenrik, did this ever get addressed?
Hi. Not as far as I have figured out.
I was searching for the same thing, after having tried to play songs on loop, incl. SD3, trying to get the result the OP was after.
Fingers crossed that it will be implemented.
All the best.
