I’m having trouble recording EZ Drummer 3 and guitar at the same time. The two tracks are blended together. I want them separate.
When I solo one track, such as the drums, I hear the guitar, and vice versa.
My hardware includes a Behringer X1204USB mixer. Software is EZ Drummer 3 plugin and Reaper is my DAW.
This may not help but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
I notice you are using EZ Drummer 3.1.1. They are now on version 3.1.2 I have gotten into the habit of checking all music related software every day for updates before I start anything. (IE)-All plugins and my Daw
I came across a similar issue two days ago. However, I was just recording a lead vocal track and discovered I was hearing the music at a lower volume on the same track. Never happened before. I ended up re-recording the vocal track and it was fine. You might try recording the drum track and the guitar track separately. What Daw are you using. I have Reaper.
Maybe you are not using a “Virtual Instrument Track” in Reaper.
Instead of adding a new generic track, right-click in the track area and add a Virtual Instrument Track instead. Put EZ on that track.
