Recording drum covers with SD3/Roland V-drums

    SD3 doesn’t have the ability to play audio tracks. You would need a DAw. Logic would be overkill for your purposes, but you should already have GarageBand. You can use that to play your audio whole recording your drums.

    I was going to suggest you try GB since you’re on MAC… beat me to it…. You could have also recorded into SD3 playing along to the track in iTunes or Youtube, or whatever…. web based audio player…
