Record e drums to midi with ezd3 in daw

Hello, how do I record an e drum kit to midi in logic pro utilizing ezd3 as a plugin? We want to use the ezd3 drum sounds as well but want it in midi so we can edit later. Also if we can do this with the multi output setting so we can eq individual drums. Thanks!!
