If I open a SD3 project in Logic and press play in the daw, the playheads follows in the SD3 window. Also if I have midi drums only in SD3, I can hear the drums when I hit play in the daw. Does this also mean that I can hit record in SD3 and then when I hit play in the daw I can record drum midi with digital drums, pads etc? I do all of my drum midi in SD3 and don’t want to do the midi in my daw, but I want to hear the tracks in the daw when recording midi in SD3.
Haven’t done this in Logic myself. But this is how I record in multiple DAWs. Should work just fine..

Thanked by: Scott Eshleman and M.WirschingYes, this is how you do it. You can also use this method for recording other MIDI tracks in Logic Pro 11 into Superior Drummer.
