Hi all, I was checking htis program out at my mates house, and he has DFH set up with a MIDI keyboard. Some of the stuff he can do is pretty awesome. I got a copy of EZdrummer + DFH, and have it loaded in Reaper.
Is there a way I can use my computer keyboard as in input? I had a look around myself, I can’t seem to find anything which works. I used the Google machine, and it turned up bits and pieces, mainly just people using MIDI keyboards. Is there a way to use a computer keyboard for testing, or do I need a MIDI one?
I’ll assume that you’ve read through the Reaper manual and can load EZdrummer onto a track and you can hear audio when clicking on the kit pieces in the EZD interface. If not, crack that manual and load up EZD.
Then select the Virtual MIDI keyboard from the recording input/options menu (see my Reaper screenshot below).
