Hi,
I just downloaded EZD2 and am using Reaper v 4.77 on a Windows 7 64 bit. I recently upgraded to EZD2 after using EZD1 for a few years. After upgrading, I tried opening a file I had working with EZD on in Reaper, and the EZD1 window pops up with a message stating that it cannot find the sound files, even though I believe that the files are located in the folder it specifies (see attachment). It looks like it saved my previous midi configurations (which I assume means it saved the beats I created?) Did I install EZD2 incorrectly? The stand alone program works great.
A couple of things I notice from your pic.
1) That is not the EZD2 interface. That is still EZD1.
2) You are using EZD1 ‘bridged’. That means that you are using EZD1 32-bit in 64-bit Reaper. Not recommended.
So, a few questions:
What exactly have you installed? Exact file name would help.
In normal circumstances, running the EZD2 full product installer should install over EZD1. The 32-bit EZD2 should install over 32-bit EZD1. 64-bit EZD2 would install over the 64-bit EZD1. I don’t know what version or versions (32-bit or 64-bit) of EZD1 you have installed on your computer.
I’m not sure why EZD2 didn’t install over EZD1. A couple of reasons might be that the EZD1 .dll was moved from its original install location. Another reason might be that you installed the 64-bit EZD2 and had just the 32-bit EZD1 installed. If so, they would have 2 different install locations and would be able to overwrite.
So, cam you do a search for ezdrummer.dll on your system? What are the install path or paths (if there is more than one)?
Can you post a pic of the EZD2 standalone version open? Not in Reaper. You should have an EZD2 icon on your desktop that allows standalone operation.
Can you post your computer specs?

Thanks for the quick reply Scott!
1. I installed EZdrummer 64-bit (Apparently I thought that I installed the 64bit EZD1 a few years ago).
2. ezdrummer.dll file paths: C:UsersFaresDownloadsTT290_EZdrummer2_WIN_202EZdrummer2_WINPLUG
C:UsersFaresDownloadsTT290_EZdrummer2_WIN_202EZdrummer2_WINPLUG64
3. EZD2 stand alone (attached)
4. Specs attached
In the standalone version, click the Help menu and click the ‘Show plug-in path’. Set that path in Reaper so it picks up that version. Download the latest update of EZD2 from the Updates tab in your Toontrack account (under your EZD2 product). The 2.0.2 version is not the latest version. 2.1.1 is the latest.
