Hello to whomever can help,
Installed ezbass from product manager, it is on computer and I can open it but do not see as plugin on Reaper. I read another post on here but he had different issues, here is my info:
Window 10
64 bit
Pathway is: programfiles/vstplugins/toontrack/ezbass.dll
Reaper recognizes ezdrummer2
Ez bass is completely updated
I’m not that proficient in computers so need a little hand holding on how to check on this and see if reaper is having the problem.
Any help is appreciated.
Coy
Hi,
is that path added to the VST paths in your Reaper Preferences > Plug-Ins > VST?
Have you tried to ‘Re-Scan’ in Reaper?

John

Yes I did rescan and clearing cache. Did not recognize
Reaper Pathway: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins;C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins;C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
EZBass pathway: C:\Program Files\Vstplugins\Toontrack\EZbass.dll
My ezdrummer 2 pathway(C:\ProgramFiles\Commonfiles\Vst3\Toontrack\EZdrummer.dll) is different and does show up in the VST3 on reaper.
Is this the problem?
Thank you for your help John,
Coy
You will need to at the EZbass path in Reaper for it to find it.
EZBass pathway: C:\Program Files\Vstplugins\Toontrack
EZD2 isn’t a VST3 plugin so if the post is added it should show up as a VST2 plugin.

Hi Scott,
See attached. It is under Steinberg for the VST plugins. So I cant click on that pathway as written for ezbass. How do I fix this? Do I need to move the VST folder somewhere else? As I stated on another email, I will need a little handholding on how to get this accomplished.
“It is under Steinberg for the VST plugins. So I cant click on that pathway as written for ezbass.”
I don’t understand this. That is “it”?
You should be able to click the Edit path list and navigate to C:\Program Files\Vstplugins\Toontrack

hey there! I doubt that it is under Steinberg (why should it be 🧐). As you stated in your initial post, it most probably is to be found here:
programfiles/vstplugins/toontrack/ezbass.dll
Just add the corresponding path and rescan as presented here:
