[Reaper] No sound in EZD window and window size question

Hi,

I’ve just installed both Reaper and EZDrummer, so I’m new to both. I think the versions are 4.5x and 1.3x respectively. After pointing Reaper to the VST plugin, I added a new track and used the FX button to open EZ Drummer. After authorizing, I tried to play some of the grooves just within the EZD window by selecting them and pressing the play button. I’m not getting any audio. However, if I drag the groove into the track and then play it in Reaper I can hear it. I could be wrong but I think I’m supposed to be able to audition the grooves from just the EZD window before dragging them into the track. I tried checking around the EZD window for an audio configuration menu of some kind but didn’t seem to find any.

Also, the EZ Drummer window itself is rather small – is there a way to increase its size? I tried clicking and dragging on a corner to see if it would “stretch” but it just moved around the screen. Is there a config file or something where the size of the window is defined and could be edited?
