Please Please tell me I’m wrong I have looked all over the net and in this forum And I cant find any thing that will fix the Hi hat or map the choked cymbal off the rim of my floor tom…..Have I not looked in the right places? For the money I just payed I was really wishing I was not going to have to try and trouble shoot for 4-5 hours…Or did I just buy the worlds most expensive beer coaster? On the plus side the whapping 1 kit you get out of the box sound killer….

Hi,
EZdrummer is not intended for E-drum use unlike its bigger brother Superior 2, which is.
You can use EZdrummer with E-drums in Toontrack solo though, which takes care of some real-time Input Transforms to make the hihat work properly and a GM note mapping.
If any notes need shifting, you need to that in your module, since EZdrummer do not offer editing of notes or parameters.
If you want full E-drum support and most of all flexibility, scalability and customisation of your setup, I recommend looking into any of the crossgrade deals for Superior 2 out there.

John

Thanks for the robot post the lack of support and the crappy feeling left in my mouth ………I’ll be taking it back to the store in a few days and using the money to get software that lets it users know what there in for when they buy it i.e the overview…….. You guys have some nice sounding software….. To charge 349$ for midi mapping IS CRAZY then 89 bucks a pop on upgrades……wow
“EZdrummer is not intended for E-drum use”How about putting that in the OVERVIEW??Let your customers in on your little secret?I had to buy it take it home do all the crap it takes to get it up and kinda running then come to the “support” forums wait 3 days to find this out…there’s that taste again in my mouth……..mmmmm anger……Good day
