Re- tracing midi files

Have had EZDrummer for about 4 weeks now…and i love it.
I’m a songwriter working on a number of projects at a time in cubase and when going back to one after a week or so I look at my dragged (drum) files in Cubase and want to change some of them but stick to the current “feel” but i then can’t work out directly where i got them from in the midi file part of EZdrummer.
Although the files have some reference numbers on them i can’t retrace my steps and go back to where they are in EZdrummer. 

Or am i missing something.?
