Are you running EZbass as a plugin inside your DAW or as Standalone? The audio sender only works in the DAW when EZbass is loaded as an instrument inside the DAW as well.

    Hi,

Actually, I think I was running it outside of the DAW before.  But now I opened it within the DAW and still don’t see FL Studio.  Now I do see an option at the bottom for Audio Input 1 that I didn’t get before but no mention of FL Studio.

    Thanks.

Audio Input 1 is the default name given to the first instance of Audio Sender inserted on a track/channel, within your DAW.

    Hey jthree,

Check the “Toontrack Audio Sender” part of 8.3 RECORDING AUDIO.

Basically, EZbass already knows it’s inside of a DAW when loaded as a plugin. Since you can have multiple Audio Senders on different tracks, EZbass instead lists the senders by the name specified in the audio sender window. Which sender to receive audio from is selected from the menu between the record arm button and metronome buttons in the tracker transport.

Having the same issue.  I have loaded Audio Sender into my Reaper Daw.  When I try send an audio track in to EZ bass (am opening EZ bass inside Reaper), I do not see any options at all under “input” just shows “none”.  Also, I have two Audio Sends in my VST on Reaper.  One is VST Audio Tracker the other VST3 Audio Tracker.  Neither seem to work.  Any help would be appreciated.

And you have Audio Sender inserted on an audio track with audio already recorded on it?

(Disclaimer: I have never used Reaper so language syntax may be different)

Thanks for looking in John.   My issue is that under input on the EZ bass window the only option is “none” no matter what I do, I cannot get that to change.  When I look at the Audio Tracker window, it shows “Track One”.  So something is not connecting.  Also I noticed your Audio Tracker window shows a green checkmark/connected.  Might shows not connected.

    OK, strange.

I did nothing but create an audio track for my source audio, inserted the Audio Sender then created a Software Instrument Track for EZbass and opened the Audio Tracker page. Not sure how to further investigate unless I can see how your Project is set up.

I will play with it again tomorrow.  Is there any difference between VST Audio Tracker and VST3 Audio Tracker?  Maybe I should delete the Audio Trackers and reload them?

Is this a new install and have you rebooted your PC recently? If yes and no, could you?

Audio Tracker was a new addition, and I just restarted the computer.  Still reading “none”.   Here is my process:

    I start a new project

    Record some audio/guitar

Add “Audio Tracker” in the FX

Open up a second track, add “EZ Bass” in the FX

Open up EZ Bass floating window, press Audio Tracker, press Record From DAW,  then the screen reads “Recording Setup”.  But still under input the only option is “None”

If I go back to the original audio/guitar track and open up the floating window for “Audio Tracker” it will show “Not connected”.

Again sorry for my lack of knowledge regarding Reaper, but instead of creating a new track and inserting EZBass, could you try, “Insert Virtual Instrument on a new track” from the Insert menu and select EZBass?

It says version 1.0.7 in your EZbass screenshot, Lawnranger. You need EZbass 1.1.0 or later to be able to connect to Audio Sender 1.1.0.
