Question about third party grooves

    Unfortunately not within EZD2. Depending on what DAW you’re using you could possibly use a midi filter. I believe Cubase and Ableton can do it, I don’t use them to say for sure the process or terminology though.

    Crossgrading to SD3 will do it, I believe.

    Hi Shootie, love your videos by the way.

    I just got the SD3 crossgrade, but haven’t started messing with it yet.  How would you do this in SD3?  Should I post this question again in the Superior forum?

    I haven’t done this myself yet from a midi file standpoint. I know this is where you midi map for incoming midi from your ekit. I assume it’s the same thing. Just click and edit the articulation in this panel. Really easy.

    No need for making a new map in SD3. Go to MIDI In/E-Drums setting and you will find mappings for both the NI Abbey Road and Studio Drummer instruments.
