Hi, I added some grooves to the library and they are showing up in the browser and search tabs, but I notice when I play them that the grooves from Kontakt (Abbey Road, Studio Drummer, etc.) are mapped differently than the EZDrummer grooves. Is there a way to change their mapping so they will be searched and play correctly?
Thanks.
Unfortunately not within EZD2. Depending on what DAW you’re using you could possibly use a midi filter. I believe Cubase and Ableton can do it, I don’t use them to say for sure the process or terminology though.
Crossgrading to SD3 will do it, I believe.

Hi Shootie, love your videos by the way.
I just got the SD3 crossgrade, but haven’t started messing with it yet. How would you do this in SD3? Should I post this question again in the Superior forum?
Thanks

Thanked by: ShootieI haven’t done this myself yet from a midi file standpoint. I know this is where you midi map for incoming midi from your ekit. I assume it’s the same thing. Just click and edit the articulation in this panel. Really easy.

No need for making a new map in SD3. Go to MIDI In/E-Drums setting and you will find mappings for both the NI Abbey Road and Studio Drummer instruments.
