Question about snap resolution

The manual says this: By default notes in the grid editor will snap to whatever resolution the grid is currently displaying.

Does “whatever resolution the grid is currently displaying” refer to the grid lines visible in the grid editor, depending on how close or far you’re zoomed in or out? Or what is set in the Resolution drop-down menu?

Means, the vertical lines you see, regardless of what is set in the resolution menu.

If you see the lines, they will snap as long as Snap is enabled. If you have a higher resolution selected but don’t see the corresponding lines, you must zoom in more.
