Can I assign the overhead to 1/2 when using multi channel to Logic Pro X? I would think it makes more sense to have the plugin on the overhead track instead of the bass drum. In Logic I was adding EQ to the bass drum and it effected the whole mix.
Also can I combine Kick In, Kick out and Kick Sub to one track? Or it it better to have more than one track for bass drum when using multi channel to Logic or any Daw for that matter?
Just keep switching these Routing menus around until all the kick drum channels read the same numbers you want, and change your OH to channel 1/2.

Would it be better to have 3 separate bass drum tracks or should I combine them to one track?
If you can utilize all three tracks and make the kick drum sound better, use all three. Otherwise, keep it simple.

Just confirming. By utilize all three tracks, you mean 3 separate tracks?
The reasons you’d want to route things out to separate channels in the DAW is either to use different processing or to route an instrument differently for mix purposes. I do both, and I tend to combine all of EZD’s (or SD’s) kick channels into a single DAW channel which I process, route to a kick group and often side-chain the bass with it. Personally I don’t see the point in making it needlessly complicated by routing every kick channel out to its own DAW channel, but doubtless some do.
