Hi – Apologies if this has been asked (couldn’t find it here). I am about to purchase an SSD to store the SD3 library. Before I do, I thought I would ask if it is necessary. Can I leave out the surround parts and still achieve the great SD3 sounds? I am recording music, just stereo. Are there parts that I can skip to reduce the space needed? I saw it in the FAQ, but it didn’t really say certain parts are ideal for normal stereo music recording.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks
Personally I don’t use the surround channels much. With Download 1, 2, and Bleed download, I get the sounds i want. If, you have the hard drive space, it doesn’t hurt to have them as extra variety as the surround channels can be used as stereo room mics.
