I notice in EZ D3 when im in the grid editor and I choose say the HH lane and quantize it to 50%. when I click on another lane say snare, when I go back to the HH lane the quantize slider is no longer set to 50% BUT the NOTES ARE STILL QUANTIZED 50%…. ???? this must be a glitch. I can’t work like that cause I bounce back and forth forget if I quantized different lanes to different %’s and this glitch makes it impossible to work cause every time I click on a new lane the quantize slider is reset to read 0. am I missing something, the quantize slider should stay at the % you last left it at I would think No? please help!
best,
Ant
Hi,
it is not an issue or glitch, it is how it works, it is the same in the Grid Editor in SD3.
I think the idea is that once you leave an edited lane, that’s how you want the instrument to play, so you may add/tweak further as you go along.

Thank you for responding john,
besides hitting undo, is there another way to highlight a bunch of notes and have them revert back to the originally played time?

Ant
Well, not when you have just recorded them yourself but if you have worked on a groove from your library, Original Play should work. And you can always right-click and Find the groove and then copy the instrument and paste to the groove.
